Boring where it counts

A Flutter app for Android and the browser, talking to a Spring Boot API over HTTPS, on PostgreSQL.

Money software should be predictable, not clever. The backend enforces every permission independently of the app — screens you can’t see are also screens you can’t reach.

ODD Flow records all of it in one app, giving a commute the same care as a Sunday ride.

Collected across enough people, that becomes a picture of how a city really moves. This comes after the tracker works on its own — a traffic layer built on three users’ data would be fiction.

One lesson, four drills, a test on Sunday

The same shape every day, so there’s nothing to decide before starting — the hardest part of learning a language alone.

New words and structures for the day, with hover-to-translate on every French word on the page.

Marked and scored as you go, so a wrong answer is corrected while you still remember why you gave it.

Sunday, scored, with the result tracked against a projection to B1 and B2.

03 NCLC 7 · Offline first

Built to work on a train with no signal

Weeks one and two are baked into the file — twelve lessons and 152 words that need no connection and no server. Cache the next seven lessons before the week starts and the rest follows.

Progress lives in the browser, so export is the only real backup. That’s a deliberate trade: no account, no server, nothing to sign into before studying.
