This website

The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising scripts. If page analytics are enabled they are aggregate and cookie-free, and cannot identify you.

If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are sent to a form-delivery service and forwarded to my inbox. They are used to reply to you and for nothing else.

The Sabha app

Sabha is used by housing societies to manage maintenance funds. Each society’s data is separate and visible only to that society’s members and committee.

The app stores:

Your name, email address and phone number, so the society can identify and contact you
Your flat number and the society you belong to
Your maintenance charges, payments and receipts
Sign-in credentials, stored as a one-way hash — passwords are never stored in readable form

Residents see their own flat and ledger. The committee and treasurer see the society’s records, which is what running the fund requires. Nobody outside your society sees any of it.

What is never done

Your data is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers
No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs are used in the app
Location, contacts, photos and files are not collected by Sabha

Where it is stored

On a server under my control, transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. Records are kept while your society uses Sabha, since a maintenance ledger is a financial record the society may need to refer back to.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask for your account to be removed. Financial records the society is required to keep may be retained after an account is closed. Write to hitesh.odedaralabs@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.

Children

Sabha is intended for adult residents and committee members and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be notified in the app.
